Your Impact
As a Speech-Language Pathologist at MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy, you will:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Utilize play-based and culturally responsive interventions to engage children and foster communication skills.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers, equipping them with home-based techniques for continued progress.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-rounded therapy approaches tailored to each child's needs.
- Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation as required.
- Participate in clinical meetings, professional development, and research opportunities.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or Clinical Fellow eligibility)
- State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Active & Engaged Work – Kneeling, bending and playing at ground level.
- Hands-On Support – Lifting up to 50+ lbs may be required.
- Quick Reflexes – Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.
- Loud or Noisy Environments – Working with active children in dynamic settings.
- Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids – Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.

Schedule
- Must be available 9 am - 6 pm
- Monday–Friday
- No nights or weekends
Compensation
- Full-time Salary: $72,000 – $100,000 (based on experience and skills)
- Full-time Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 (paid in two installments, with a two-year commitment)
- Potential to earn up to $15,000 annually in productivity bonuses
- Part-time rate: $35/hr - $50/hr (based on experience and skills)
